Panelists:
Madison Shepard is currently recurring on Freeform's SINGLE DRUNK FEMALE as GAIL and can be seen on HBO's BARRY and Comedy Central’s THE NEW NEGROES. Madison has written on Netflix’s THE CIRCLE and the Roku Original ROKU RECOMMENDS. As a stand-up, she has opened for Maria Bamford and Dulcé Sloan, and you can stream her stand-up comedy EP GOODNIGHT SILVERLAKE LOUNGE. However, prior to this, she worked as a writer’s PA on Amazon’s “Harlem”. She has also worked in several “pre-rooms” for live television shows and done script punch-up for a comedy legend.
Kate Zasowski (she/her) is a writer and comedian whose work centers on feminism, the LGBT experience, and mental health. She recently wrote an episode on season two of Big Shot (Disney+) airing this fall. Kate has also been a writers' assistant for various comedy genres ranging from scripted to late night to sketch to satirical puppets... including I Love That For You, Atypical, Busy Tonight, and Spitting Image.
Mattea Greene is a TV writer based in Los Angeles, California. Mattea is a native of central Florida and graduated from the University of Chicago before beginning her career as a writers’ assistant and script coordinator. Mattea wrote a freelance script for season three of the hit Netflix show “Cobra Kai”and was promoted to staff writer and story editor in subsequent seasons.
Kandice Martellaro has worked on the show Stan Against Evil on IFC and HULU. Kandice was hired on season 2 as the Showrunner’s Assistant and in her time on Stan Against Evil, she worked in writers' meetings and helped where needed. By season 3, Kandice had written her own episode of the show.
Mary Gulino worked as an assistant, both at an overall deal and in a writers' room, before starting a writing career of her own. She currently writes on an animated show for Disney.
